Every designer’s dream project. I was asked to build the entire brand from the ground-up for a soon-to-be luxurious brewery in the Netherlands. The brief was to build something sophisticated as well as memorable to match a starting lineup of 6 exquisitely crafted Dutch beers.

Vrienden means “friends” or “buddies” in Dutch, so I created quirky animal illustrations featuring unlikely or adversarial creatures who appear to be having a great time together. I tied everything together with a wide array of sophisticated type. At the Vrienden Brewery, everyone is a friend.
